| Digital MMS |
| The new Aero-Vision Multi-Media Synthesizer
(MMS) system has been introduced for use in deluxe guestrooms in luxury hotels. Large
screen high definition TV, theatrical sound presentation, and full interactive features
all combine through a single, easy to use guest interface to provide a full selection of
entertainment options. By integrating the latest in Video on Demand and television
technology, Aero-Vision can propel a hotel into a leadership position where the in-room
video and multi-media services exceeds the guests and the industrys
expectations. |

|
Aero-Vision partners with luxury
hotels to design, install, and integrate this advanced MMS system. Entertainment services
are integrated into a single unit that provides an easy-to-use interface to the guest, and
completely avoids the need for separate channel selection, volume, sound and video
distribution controls prevalent in most home entertainment systems. Special foreign
programming choices will appeal to the international class of travelers that stay at these
upscale hotels. Features of the system include:
- Computer-based Video on Demand combines superior digital
programming quality with scheduling to fit the tight time schedules of the traveler
- New movies and shows are accessed securely, allowing for
constant programming changes without the inconvenience of swapping video tapes at the
hotel
- Expanded channel content provides the premium programming
guests expect to find in a modern system, like more movies, sports, and family
entertainment.
- Internal interface with the in-room computer allows access
to an expanded database of upcoming programming content, including program guide data,
movie previews, and other show information.

| MicroNode |
| The Aero-Vision MicroNode system is a high
reliability, high speed wireless communications system for data, video, and integrated
telephony. The system provides a unique solution for intra-building installations,
avoiding the need for expensive hard-line wiring and associated maintenance problems.
Additionally, it seamlessly provides data distribution to other buildings and locations. |

|
Access from a central MicroNode head-end
provides high speed connectivity for all communication services, remote private networks,
or PBX exchanges for integrated telephony. The multi-cell feature of the MicroNode system
enables it to provide inter-connection over wide areas, avoiding the need for expensive
leased landlines.
The MicroNode system is multi-channel,
multi-band, an important distinction from other wireless systems. The ability to operate
in different parts of the spectrum at the same time allows diverse data distribution
applications to be supported, whether they be video conferencing, high speed Internet
access, or private line networks. The ability to rapidly switch to different channels or
bands avoids traffic congestion on the MicroNode network and assures all users
availability of high speed data transfer. An important feature is that as a customer's
data transfer rates increase, or coverage requirements grow, the MicroNode system quickly
adapts by opening up additional channels or bands, without affecting other users on the
network.

New
Technology Developments at Aero-Vision
Integtrated Data Communications Service
|
| The new Aero-Vision Digital Communications
service provides highly reliable integrated voice and data which can be used as a
new integrated communications service or as a backup service to existing telephone and
data service plans. This all-digital service incorporates the latest technological
features to insure uninterrupted service with an communications infrastructure overlay
that is not dependent on existing in-ground or in-building wiring or switching. |
| High
Speed IR Data Links |
| The multi-function
Aero-Vision MicroNodes enables high speed fibreless optic links to be integrated
seamlessly into the data networking topology. The advantage of the optical link is the
extreme bandwidths available, and virtually no latency in the data. Aero-Vision has been
developing electro-optical and IR systems for over 10 years, ranging in application such
as PVHD devices for military applications to short-range data communications in both
internal and external building environments. The Aero-Vision IR technology has been
applied in a wide variety of applications. For common question and answers relating to IR
systems, see IR FAQ. |
RFID Tag Technology |
| Aero-Vision has developed RFID (Radio
Frequency Identification) tag technology with associated interrogation equipment and
software systems for the secure identification and tracking of large numbers of electronic
tags, which can be used with the proprietary Aero-Vision MicroNode high speed data
distribution networks, including wireless links to the RFID tags. The system is
multifunctional and will provide security at several locations and levels. In the air
transport industry, the system will positively identify and track both passengers and
their baggage at all points throughout their travel world wide, in supported aircraft and
airports. The RFID technology is also applicable to other applications that require secure
identification, tracking, and position location of objects and/or personnel.

| Security
Camera Systems |
| The CCTV Camera system with the associated
Aero-Vision MicroNode data distribution system is an advanced, state-of-the-art video
security system with important features allowing an unprecedented degree of flexibility,
operating modes, and ease of installation. The advanced system provides for all-digital
data communications, enabling high-quality image transmission, with no degradation with
distance. The system is wireless, eliminating the need for expensive, fixed wired
installations within the building. Secure transmission, provided through digital
encryption of the video data streams, also provides immunity from interference. |
| SCS Telephony |
 |
Provides enhanced wireless
service telephony for employees while utilizing the existing PBX infrastructure. The SCS
network enables mobile roaming use of cell phones within the building as a private
telephone network, and allows connection to both the internal PBX and the external PSTN
for conventional local and long distance calls. The user can have a single phone number,
which operates seamlessly through his office extension and cell phone, for internal or
external telephony. |
