New York, NY, July 18, 2000-- Manhattan’s landmark Plaza
Hotel, through a partnership with data networking leader Aero-Vision Technologies, is
introducing a brand-new high-tech and Extreme-Speed
InternetTM service to its guests.
Through the
high-speed wireless MicroNode system, each Plaza
hotel room will now be furnished with a custom PC computer with a liquid crystal computer
screen through which guests can retrieve information about the hotel, NYC restaurants,
stores and cultural and recreational happenings. Through links to special sites, guests
can order theater tickets, make restaurant reservations and retrieve detailed maps of
neighborhoods they would like to visit or explore. Guests
can also send and receive email through the new service.
The MicroNode based “Cyber
Concierge” is exclusive to Plaza guests and is not accessible outside of the Plaza
Hotel.

services that Aero-Vision intends to provide to the Plaza Hotel in the future include
