The Aero-Vision MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit) program provides high speed Internet access services, which can be bundled with cable TV (Video), telephone for residential apartment and condominium users. The program is offered to building owners and condominium associations that are interested in providing high speed Internet access at competitive pricing.

The Aero-Vision MicroNode system supports wireless data, voice, and video services for in-building installations. The system provides for (1) high speed Internet access services to in-building tenants, (2) an integrated digital data packet-based Public Address (P.A.) and Intercom system for communication between the tenants, doorman, and visitors, and (3) Special Features, enabled by the in-building wireless distribution system, including automatic fire and security monitors and fire alert decision aids.

Both basic and premium Internet access services are available. The higher end services provide options for higher data transfer within a monthly billing cycle, proxy/firewall security services, multiple IP address assignments, bandwidth guarantees, and other features attractive to the SOHO market.

The Aero-Vision in-building MicroNode system is a high speed, integrated wireless data distribution system supporting Internet access and other data services. The software systems associated with MicroNode are designed and developed by Aero-Vision, and contain a high degree of functionality enabling highly reliable wireless data transmission via the wireless media. Key features included in the residential MDU service offering are:

  • Automatic link integrity testing
  • Predictive and adaptive load balancing throughout the system, enabling additional features such as guarantee of speed, Quality of Service (Q of S), and future Voice over IP services
  • Superior RF propagation performance throughout the building

Aero-Vision is an industry leader in high speed wireless data communications, and has critical expertise relating to RF propagation, data link integrity, secure encoding of data transmission, and integrated data network set-up and remote systems administration services tailored to in-building wireless distribution and the residential MDU market.

The optional integrated doorbell/P.A. system can be run over the MicroNode wireless system, providing data, voice and video services to the building tenants. Specific features include the Customized Doorman computer screen, enabling "point and click" operation to signal a specific tenant, address groups of tenants, or serve as Public Address for the entire building, Intercom phone sets, with automatic switching to speaker (P.A.), and Emergency/"Panic" Alert feature, equipped with both the fixed mount and portable intercom units.
