Aero-Vision was formed in 1990 for the design, manufacture, and marketing of products for the aerospace industry, including the PVHD product. In 1995, the company was expanded with the formation of Aero-Vision Technologies to develop, apply, and commercialize advanced communications technologies in addition to the aerospace products. The company's current communication products encompass voice, data and video transport; wired and wireless solutions; unique highly reliable and high speed "last mile" services, and advanced networking technologies

Aero-Vision was one of the first in the industry to offer high speed IP-based data communications using the wireless media, with initial operations commencing in October, 1996. Since that time, significant technological improvements have been made to the Aero-Vision MicroNode system, providing for both radio frequency and free-space optics links, substantially higher throughput speeds, and a high degree of reliability. Aero-Vision has developed significant technical and business expertise in wired and wireless data communication services. This expertise positions Aero-Vision in an industry leadership role, which the company maintains through a vigorous R&D program. The company employs personnel having expert technical expertise in data networking and advanced data communications. Aero-Vision maintains an extensive Research and Development program, and conducts market trials of new technologies on a continuing basis.

Aero-Vision maintains its offices and research facility at 350 Motor Pkwy, Hauppauge, New York. The facility houses laboratory and research equipment, the Network Operations Center, and related equipment to support the continuing MicroNode and Multi-Media Research and Development activities.
